This book was written by Dr Immerman in 1993, and has been revised yearly to reflect advances and changes in the treatment of breast cancer. This was written specifically for his patients, because Dr Immerman did not feel that the available books were clear enough, easy enough to read, nor did they present the various types of treatment in a way that would help patients make informed decisions regarding breast cancer treatment.  
The book has chapters on diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis, as well as information on the various procedures performed to treat breast cancer.
