About Our Office It is our goal to provide our patients with high quality, compassionate, personalized surgical care. We don't like to keep you waiting for your surgery, so we do our best to schedule your appointments and operations as soon as possible. Office visits are by appointment at our office at 719 West Hamilton Avenue, in Eau Claire. Our surgeons encourage you to call the office with your questions both before and after your surgery. Often our experienced office staff will be able to answer your questions. If not, your surgeon will return your call when he is available. The office staff is able to contact the surgeons by pager or cell phone for emergencies. If your particular surgeon is not available another general surgeon is always on call to handle unexpected problems. If you need to reach one of the Evergreen surgeons or the surgeon covering for him during weekend or evening hours call our answering service at 715-839-2701. The operator will be able to contact the appropriate surgeon for you. Because our office is small, we are able to provide personalized attention when handling billing and insurance matters. Our clerical staff are experts at working with insurance companies, and in particular working with surgical claims. We encourage you to call, email, or write the office staff with any questions, problems, or comments regarding billing and insurance. If you have a problem paying your bill, please let us know. Discounts are available in hardship situations.
We will fill out and submit the insurance forms related to the care We accept assignment for all Medicare claims, and are providers for the Wisconsin Medical Assistance and Badger Care programs. We perform surgery at Sacred Heart and Luther Hospitals in Eau Claire as well as the Oak Leaf Surgical Hospital. The Evergreen surgeons are also on the staff of several of the hospitals in the communities surrounding Eau Claire, including Durand, Black River Falls, Arcadia, Cumberland, and Chippewa Falls. (PPO) for which we are "providers", we will bill them directly. Our surgeons are providers
or preferred-providers for most local HMO, PPO, and POS plans. Feel free to
call our office with questions regarding coverage details for your particular
plan.
