Dr. Steven C. Immerman
Dr. Immerman moved to Eau Claire
and started Evergreen Surgical in December of 1981. Since that time,
the practice has grown to it's present size of three board certified general
surgeons. Prior to moving to Eau Claire, Dr Immerman received
both his undergraduate and medical degrees
from Northwestern University in Chicago. Following that, he completed a five year
residency in general surgery at Northwestern
University. As part of his surgical training, he completed an
American Cancer Society Clinical Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at
Evanston Hospital in Evanston, Il.
Dr. Immerman has published papers on cancer of the breast, lung, pancreas, parathyroid glands, and skin. He is
board certified
in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Medical Society and the Society of General
Surgery. He has served as Director of Trauma for Sacred Heart Hospital, chaired their Department of Surgery from 1987 to 1992 and currently serves on their
Oncology Committee.
He is one of the founders of the of the OakLeaf
Medical Network which was created to allow patients and physicians in the Chippewa Valley to maintain private practice as a health care option. He has been the CEO of the OakLeaf organization from 1993 to
2006, and has been instrumental in the creation of the OakLeaf
Surgical Hospital.
Dr. Immerman has given over 80 lectures, talks and seminars on surgical topics in the Chippewa Valley since starting his practice here in 1982. He has been an active participant in the
UW Medical School Family Practice Teaching Program in Eau Claire for
25 years.
Dr. Immerman was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City. He has lived in Eau Claire since 1981. He is married and has three boys. His hobbies include photography, computers and
kiln formed glass. His glass work can be seen at the Clearwater

Dr. Brent M. Wogahn
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Iowa State and his M.D. from the University of Iowa, Dr. Wogahn completed a five year General Surgical residency at the University of Missouri affiliated
St. Luke's Hospital program in Kansas City. In addition to his training in general surgery and trauma, Dr Wogahn received extensive experience in vascular surgery. Dr Wogahn has published clinical research papers on vascular problems, shock, bowel obstruction, nutrition and trauma. Dr Wogahn is
board
certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons.
Since joining Evergreen Surgical in 1995, Dr Wogahn has developed the most active vascular surgical practice in this area of Wisconsin. In addition to practicing in Eau Claire, Dr Wogahn also
sees patients in Durand.
Dr. Wogahn is an instructor in the Family Medicine Resident Teaching Program and was awarded The Outstanding Newcomer Award for teaching in 1996. He also lectures for the Emergency Medical Training Programs at Sacred Heart and
Chippewa Valley Technical College. He is the Medical Director of
the Oak Leaf Surgical Hospital in Eau Claire.
In February of 2000 and again multiple times thereafter, Dr Wogahn has traveled to Ecuador with a group of medical
personnel from Eau Claire to share his time and surgical abilities with the
Ecuadorians.
Dr. Wogahn was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and raised on a farm north of Marion, Iowa. His wife, Kristin, is from Atlanta and they have two
children. Dr Wogahn's leisure time interests include aviation and model airplanes.
Dr.
Richard
J. Daniels
Dr. Daniels worked at
Evergreen Surgical from 1996 thru 1998. He moved to
St. Cloud, Minnesota for two years,
and then returned to Eau Claire and Evergreen Surgical in
May of 2001. Dr Daniels has trained in all areas of general
surgery. His interests include endocrine, oncologic, pediatric and laparoscopic surgery. Dr
Daniels is board
certified in General Surgery by the American
Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow
of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Daniels received his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara
University in California. He attended Creighton
University in Omaha for medical school and graduated in
1991. Following that he completed a five year general surgery
residency at the University
of North Dakota. He received several awards during his
residency including "Outstanding Surgical Resident"
and "Outstanding Resident Teacher". He is a member of the Wisconsin State Medical
Society, the AMA, and the American Society of General Surgeons.
He has published or helped publish papers on cancer (colon,
testes), macrosomia (enlarged babies) and vasculitis
(inflammation of blood vessels).
Dr. Daniels is a native of Sacramento, California. He and his
wife Amelia are both
interested in running, biking, and mountain climbing. They
have a two daughters and two sons.
